Our company history
SGI Windows is the result of the American dream. It all started with one man’s determination to succeed in the land of opportunity. Yoelvis Sori, President of SGI Windows, came to the U.S. in 2005 with hopes of creating a better life for himself. He started off working as an assistant installer for an impact window and door company where he quickly climbed the ranks until he became an expert installer. Once he gained the necessary experience, he decided to challenge himself for bigger and better things: his own installation company.
In 2009, SGI Windows and Doors was born. Sori assembled his own crew of professional installers to help families and businesses in South Florida obtain the necessary hurricane protection with impact windows and doors to weather any storm. As he started his business journey, he met and fell in love with his wife, Mailyn Fernandez. They both worked together to build SGI Windows from the ground up. They share 3 wonderful children and a mini goldendoodle.
